MicroJam 14: Golden Goose Chase
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
After years of fruitless internet searching, you've finally found a willing vendor of the rare Honks of the Southern Isles Golden Figurine. The problem? You've only got $20 to spend. Explore the city and earn money by helping various citizens, or earn your way to victory through more devious means. Either way, I'm sure Honks the Goose would approve.
This game features 7 unique endings with 11 unique paths to reach them! Some are easier to find than others, but if you need a "hand" in finding them try offering a "hand" to others when they're happy with you.

The game aesthetic, with the mix of low poly and realism and the security cameras etc... looks really good, the problem is that it looks TOO good. The game lags on my computer, and its no office computer, its a low-end gaming PC (Athlon 3000 and 16Gb ram) so my computer is above many people that could play your game. You should probably find a faster way to have a realistic aesthetic. maybe the problem is the realistic models, how many poligons do they have?
Thanks for the feedback! This was part of a jam and I didn't have any time to test optimization, so its helpful to hear how it ran on other computers. I know there's some pretty easy optimizations I can make (nanite, level streaming, etc.) so I might make a "remaster" of sorts with those in the future.
